Winter Wonderland

Hi furiends! Sorry I've been AWOL again...this time my human's excuse is something called "Krissmuss- prepurayshuns" which has been keeping her furry busy. No time for blogging. But I gave her a stern talking-to today and said I needed to catch up with my blogging buds. So here I am!

The picture above was my first experience with that fluffy cold white stuff! That was way back in early March when I was a wee pup. I really didn't mind it which is a good thing, since I was being potty-trained.

We had our first snowfall of the season last week, and Boy Twin threw snowballs for me to eat (I mean, catch!). It was so much fun.

A couple days later, my human took me back to the off-leash woods for a walk. It was so beautiful, with the ice glistening on the branches like crystals.

Remember those cool berries from my first walk? Look at them now...like whipped cream on cherries!

We saw so many doggies also out enjoying the winterscape...my human forgot to take pics 'cuz she was too busy yakking with the other humans while we doggies romped together in the snow. I love going on these walks 'cuz we both get a great workout, going up & down ridges...I'm always so tuckered out when we get home.

Does it snow where you live and if so, do you like it?

  1. Oh Sedona! Great snowball catches! Those winter wonderland scenes are just beautiful! Mom was raised in Ct, but it's been since she was a girl since she's seen those beautiful mornings when ice just covers all the snow and magically glistens - THANK YOU for posting all those pretty branches and paths in the woods! Love it! And... it does not normally ever snow here, although about 2 days ago, snow dusted the hilltops around here. It's been just freezing! If we get more rain down here, it will probably snow on the high ridgetops again... I hope!

  6. Hi Sedona,

Love the video of you catching and eating the snowballs. You know we get snow and that we hate it. The pictures of the park are purdy though.

  7. Hey Sedona

Great snow pics. You looked like you were having a blast. Daisy likes to catch/eat snowballs too. You were the most adorable puppy.

As you said, the pictures on our blog answered your question, we loooove snow.

  13. Sedona -
I'm so jealous. We haven't had ANY snow in the city. Since Mom and I are true city girls (meaning no car) it's tough for us to go find the snow. They say its going to RAIN on Sunday - I'm hoping they're wrong and the cold stays so we get SNOW!!!!!

Enjoy your romps in the cold (fluffy) white stuff - Abbey

  15. Oh, Sedona, you were having so much fun with that snow and catching the snowballs. We so wish we could get more snow than just the inch or so we got this time. We need to be able to burrow through it, don't you think? Your offleash woods looked so beautiful.

  16. Ok, girly, I love ya and all but I'm concerned about your state of mind now. Did you freeze your brains in that snow? There is nothing about snow that is fun. I repeat, NOTHING! You do look beautiful standing in the woods with the snow and ice.

  18. Hi Sedona!

It looks like you had a ton of fun playing in the snow! It looks cold, too.

It doesn't snow where we live (Orlando, Florida!) but we're hoping for some snow when we go up to the Smoky Mountains next week!
