A Taste of Agility

I tried it, and it was yummy! My puppy kindergarten class just finished up, and to celebrate our instructor gave us a little intro to agility. My human was very happy with my reaction to the mini-course, as she hopes to do agility with me when I'm older. I liked all the pieces of equipment, especially the tunnel:

Girl Twin had come along and my human filmed her running the mini-course with me. She had so much fun, she says she wants to do agility with me, too! We had gone through all the equipment on lead first, then after the other puppies left, our instructor said we could try it off lead.

A Toller called Slyder won the AKC 2007 Agility Finals (16-inch category): you can see the video here:

Maybe I'll follow in Slyder's footsteps one day!

  4. You made a very good start, well done.. when we click on your blog and the header picture of you comes on, mum goes all oohs and ahhs. You are lovely though for a woofie..

  5. Sedona - you are awesome! I think you'd be an agility star since you do so well at such a young age, you have tons of potential! Brutus takes agility classes and loves them, it's also a great way to wear him out! As soon as he turns 15 months (minimum age to compete) I'll plan to debut him - for now it's practice, practice, practice!!

(Brutus' mom -he's sleeping now, so I get to comment myself today!)

  6. Hi Sedona,

Congrats on completing your puppy class. The agility sounds like fun!

    Wags & wiggles,

  7. That's incredible Sedona! What a great job you are doing at this age! Whoo hooo! Very impressive! I'll be doing your nice tag today - thanks so much!
